Web now is all about content management systems and use of AJAX for dynamic content display within templatized formatting. The next generation will have content management systems that accomodate designers who want to customize formatting per entry. So you'll start having blogs that look like the pages of trendy design magazines where the design of one entry is totally different from that of the next and same goes for forums.
