My faith in humanity

I just happened to turn on the TV this morning to watch the weather report and there was some talk show (I guess it was the Tyra Banks show) where a girl was confessing that she was afraid of garden gnomes. I have no problem with someone being afraid of garden gnomes. That's their prerogative, but having a show watched by so many people about something so ridiculous made me think at that point if humanity were a publicly traded company, I would sell my stock.
